The Classification of Cable’s Conductors
According to IEC60228, Cable’s Conductors are divided into four types:
Class 1: Solid conductor
Class 2: Stranded conductor
Class 5: Flexible conductor
Class 6: Very Flexible conductor
Solid copper conductors should be circular cross-sections, solid aluminum conductors, cross-section 16 and below should be circular cross-sections.
Wire and cable In order to increase the flexibility or flexibility of the cable, the cable core with a larger cross-section is formed by twisting multiple single wires with smaller diameters. The wire core twisted by multiple single wires has good flexibility and great flexibility. When the wire core is bent, the inner and outer parts of the core center line can move to compensate each other, and the bending will not cause the plastic deformation of the conductor, so the wire core is soft The performance and stability are greatly improved.
